What this website collects

This website is informational. It has no contact forms, user accounts, online ordering or newsletter sign-up, so we do not collect personal data through the website itself.

Reservations

When you reserve a table by phone or message, we ask for:

  • your name and phone number;
  • the date, time and number of guests;
  • any allergies, dietary needs or special occasions you choose to tell us about.

We use this only to manage your reservation and prepare your visit. We keep reservation details for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 3 months] and then delete them. Allergy information is used only to prepare your meal safely.

Third-party services

  • Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google’s servers, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when you open the site. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • Google Maps and Google reviews. Links to our Google listing take you to Google’s website, where Google’s own privacy policy and cookies apply.
  • Facebook and Instagram. If you follow our social media links, Meta’s privacy policy applies on those platforms. Messages you send us there are used only to answer you or handle your reservation.
  • Website hosting. Our host, Hostinger, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running.

Sharing your data

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the restaurant and this website, or when the law requires us to.

How we protect it

Reservation details are only available to staff who need them, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe.

Your rights

Under Curaçao’s personal data protection law (Landsverordening bescherming persoonsgegevens), you may ask us to:

  • see the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it, or stop using it.

Contact us using the details above and we will respond within [RESPONSE TIME, e.g. 4 weeks]. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can contact the College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (CBP) in Curaçao. Visitors from the European Union may also have rights under the GDPR.

Children

This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if we add online reservations or a newsletter. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
